What's New with EY Ofsted Inspections? Live Q+A

Ofsted has recently proposed big changes to the way they inspect Early Years settings, both in terms of how the inspection day will run and how they report the outcome.

But what will the ideas in the consultation look like in practice? This is your chance to find out.

This webinar is your opportunity to have your questions about the proposal answered by Ofsted themselves, in the form of their Deputy Director for Early Years Jayne Coward and Early Years Regulatory Inspector Sam Sleeman-Boss. Famly’s Matt Arnerich will be taking questions in advance, as well as live on the day.

The proposals include moving away from single-word judgements and towards a ‘scorecard’, which will be judged based on the criteria in the Early Years Toolkit. We’ll go from four judgements to five. And they’re also changing the structure of their evaluation areas, including separating out curriculum specifically, adding a focus on developing routines and adding inclusion as a completely new area.

Matt and Jayne will cover:

  • The changes to the run of inspection day

  • What assessment across the scorecards will look like

  • How to get the most out of the Early Years Toolkit

  • …and much more!

Sign up today to attend and get the webinar sent to you on demand afterwards.
